youth, and vulnerable adults are protected;
Victims
of sexual abuse by clergy, religious sisters and brothers, and lay
ministers are listened to, supported, and assisted in their search for
healing and justice;
Clergy,
religious, and lay ministers of integrity are supported and challenged to
be a part of the solution to sex abuse in the Church; and
Church
leadership is held accountable to tell the truth about all cases of sex
abuse, and
Church leaders follow civil and church law and diocesan sexual abuse policies so that
children are protected, offending clerics are reported to the police and
Child Protective Services, and the public is fully informed.
